Tube-Tech Service

Most Tube-Tech repairs typically involve tube replacement and calibration. The age of the unit and if you leave it on 24/7 is the major factor determining if the tubes need to be replaced. Turning the unit off between sessions wilI extend tube life. We feel with moderate use (20 hrs/wk) that the tubes should last you 3 to 5 years. However if you leave the unit on 24/7 then we suggest you replace them every year. While you can just replace the tubes yourself, the heat radiating from the tubes will cause other components to drift in value and we highly suggest ALWAYS checking all the voltages and calibrating the units after re-tubing them.

WARNING!!! ~ VACUUM TUBE EQUIPMENT CONTAIN LETHAL VOLTAGES !!! PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!
